What It Does
Replaces all depth values in a selected area of the grid with a custom value or a no-data value. Useful for removing data above/below a threshold.
General Description
Selection Region: The area on the surface which will be affected by the operation. Scene view selection allows the use of the selection tools to define an area, otherwise the area can be entered manually. The X and Y range fields will be automatically filled with the bounds of the scene view selection, or the whole grid if no scene view selection was made.
Value to replace: Here you can choose the range of values to be replaced. You can specify a Z range up to the minimum and maximum Z values of the grid.
The inside and outside radio buttons control if values inside or outside the Z range should be replaced (negative values are depths, positive heights). Inside includes the min and max values, while outside excludes them. For example if your range is -15.0m to -10.0m, then a value of 10.0m will be replaced if inside is checked, and not replaced if outside is checked.
The “No data” radio button will replace the values with a special value indicated there is no data present, effectively deleting those values from the grid. Alternatively you can specify a custom value to insert in place of the replaced values.
Output File: The name of the new grid file that will be produced.
