Qimera Create Cleaning Project Dialog

How to Start

• New Cleaning Project option of the Project menu in the Main Menu bar

• New Cleaning Project option of the Qimera Welcome dialog

What it Does

This dialog allows for quick creation of a project for editing of processed point files.

General Description 

At a minimum, a unique project name, a selection of point files, and a Dynamic Grid cell size selection is required to create and open a cleaning project. See below for 

Project

Just as in the Create Project Dialog, a unique Project Name is required. Qimera will create a folder with this name in the Location directory for the project. The Project Path shows the full path at which the project folder will be created.

The Advanced button will take you to the Create Project Dialog to edit addition project details like survey type, description, and geodetic settings.

Point Files

The Add Files button will take you to the Add Processed Point Files Dialog to add processed point files, and configure specific properties for the import of the files.

Dynamic Grid Configuration

If selecting a specific Cell Size there are the same options as in the Create Dynamic Grid Dialog.

If the priority is to quickly to see the data, you can select Suggested Cell Size. Here though the properties of the point files are unknown until after the import. The suggested cell size can't be shown here, but will be determined during the project creation after the point files are imported.
