Qimera 2.4.2 Release

We are pleased to present Qimera 2.4.2, the next bugfix release in the 2.4 series. This is the first release in the 2.4 series to add support for macOS and Linux operating systems.

Highlights

• Added support for HIPS I/O SDK version 11 licensing. We now support HIPS licenses for versions 9, 10 and 11
• The Add Large ASCII Processed Points import now supports geographic coordinate reference systems
• BAG export now supports time dependent transformations in the WKT by simplifying to a compatible instantaneous 7 parameter transform using the BAG metadata Creation Date 
• Cable/Pipe TOP detection tool will now support Processed Point files

• Processing / Source Files
  • Removing processed point files will now delete the corresponding QPD in the project DtmData folder
• Tools and Editors
  
  • Fixed an issue when displaying/saving patch test results for laser files
  • Fixed the Color by depth color range in the 3D Editor
  • 3D Editor will now show the Don't ask again checkbox when prompted to save edits
  • Added a warning message when Running Sounding Filter on files with an editor open
  • Improved clarity when working with revisions in the SVP Editor
  • Fixed a display issue in the Cable/Pipe Analysis tool that showed a fully buried cable/pipe as exposed

  • KML will now export the correct colormap
  • Fixed issues related to rendering arcs when importing CAD files
  • Made CARIS tide files importer more robust in the face of non-standard date-time formatting
  • Fixed the date detection when importing HMS tide files
• Surfaces
  
  • Fixed storage of CUBE settings in projects with non-meter coordinate systems
  • Fixed Colormap Editor issues related to colormaps with an insufficient number of rows
  • Fixed a selection issue after the surface resolution was changed if there was more than one surface in the project
• Other
  
  • Improved source file selection/navigation speed with large projects
  • Fixed the Datagram Viewer's display of Time, Extents and Datagrams for specific file types
  • Corrected the Column header "Difference E/N" in the Static Horizontal Shift Tool
  • Fixed a crash when opening a Qinsy project for Point Editing with CAD files present in the project
