Grid Tools

The Grid Tools tab includes tools to perform edit actions and calculations on a sounding grid. Most calculations work on one layer, the one which is activated in the layer gallery.

Changing the visible sounding grid layers or the drawing order can be done in the Project Explorer pane.
Changing the way grids are displayed is done in the Plan View Settings dialog.

The Grid Tools tab only becomes active when a grid is selected in the Project Explorer.

The example used herein is not a fully completed Cutter Suction dredging project. However it will serve to illustrate the principles.
