Fledermaus 8.5.2 Release

We're pleased to present Fledermaus version 8.5.2. In this release, have important updates and encourage our user base to upgrade to this release. Read below for details.

Highlights

• You can now select areas of interest on point cloud objects to perform mesh, gridding, and export operations and have only the points within the selection contribute. You can choose the point density level that you want to perform the operation on the selection

• You can now make specific colours be transparent for vertical curtains objects.

• Use the jump to KP option to quickly navigate to a specific KP and zoom scene to such a location.

• You can now create a line object from a selection in the 3D scene.

• You can now create line objects from the established Space Time Notes in a scene.

• You can now create point objects from the established Space Time Notes in a scene.

• The Data View panel now supports Line objects much more completely.

Improvements

• A new Geo-picking tool mode can be used to easily create a continuous set of Space-Time Notes.

• Calculating point clusters are now much faster than in prior versions.

• The BAG export operation is no longer losing any precision upon export.

• Applying shading to draped images now smooths the application of the shadows as expected.

• Vertical images are now completely displayed in movie rendering operations.

• The transparency object settings drop-down list was not allowing proper selections.

• Beam fan time series objects that have depth offsets are now applied as expected.

• You can now render movies with text selections.

• QPD point views on the slides and in presentation modes are now enabled.
