Qinsy - Fledermaus Workflow Bathymetry Processing

This document describes the possible workflows when using Qinsy Survey Manager and Fledermaus for bathymetric data processing.

To be able to use the seamless Qinsy-Fledermaus workflow, you need the following:

  • Qinsy version 8.10.03.26.1 or newer

  • Fledermaus 7.4.0 or newer, Windows 32-bit or Windows 64-bit version

  • A valid licence for both Qinsy and Fledermaus, they can be on separate dongles, or a Fledermaus licence can be added to the Qinsy (purple) dongle

There are 3 possible workflows.

  1. Using the direct link to Fledermaus in the Project menu of Qinsy Survey Manager

  2. Opening a Qinsy project in Fledermaus

  3. Building a PFM in DMagic from QPD files

Please note that SBET injection into QPD doesn't apply Pitch, Roll, Heave, Heading, Ray Tracing and TPU. Please contact Support for more information.

Workflow 2 is quite similar to workflow 1, the only difference is from where Fledermaus is launched.
