Qimera 2.8.0 - Improvements

Qimera now provides the option to use the realtime Standard Deviation (SD) if available or override with the a-priori object SD values. This can be adjusted in the Vessel Editors, TPU settings.

QPD update

In the X.8 release, the QPD format was updated to provide increased footprint precision.

Frequency

Improved frequency support by extracting frequencies from more hardware vendors. The speed of filtering specific frequencies has been improved.

Use the Datagram Viewer to quickly see which frequencies are stored in a sonar file:

The frequency of a specific ping / beam can be seen via the Sounding Properties dialog in the Slice or Swath Editors:
