Main Menu Bar

The Main Menu Bar displays a number of options for the program. See the Main Menu Bar section for more detail.

Source Files Panel

The Source Files tab of the tree view contains a list of all files currently loaded for processing. The Visual Objects tab displays a list of all created visual elements such as mosaic, statistical and ARA layers. See the FMGT - Source Files Panel section for more details.

Mosaic Information Panel

This panel displays the currently selected mosaic resolution as well as general size and memory requirements information. See the FMGT - Mosaic Information Panel section for more detail.

Processing Panel

This is the key panel that controls the process flow of FMGT. It allows the user to proceed using automatic or manual control over the processing pipeline. It also contains a tab which displays the history of processing messages that have been provided to the user during processing stages. See the FMGT - Processing Panel section for more detail.

Status Bar

The Status Bar displays current geographic position of the cursor when it is over the map. It also displays the current directory during active directory monitoring. For Windows users, it also contains a control that displays the current amount of memory utilized by FMGT. See the FMGT - Status Bar section for more detail.

Map View

The Map View displays all of the visual layers of the project. FMGT can have multiple mosaic, statistic or ARA layers, all controlled by the user. It can also display a reference bathymetric grid. See the FMGT - Map View section for more detail.

Histogram/ARA Panel

The Histogram Panel displays the histogram of the currently selected visual layer. The ARA Panel displays the port/starboard response curves of the currently selected ARA patch.

The Tool Bar contains all of the display and editing controls for FMGT. See the FMGT - Tool Bar section for more detail.
