This was caused by using a Angle Varying Gain filter on the Laser data. In we now changed the following:

• Echsounder Settings dialog.
  The Backscatter settings page won't be visible anymore for Laser systems, only for (real) multibeam systems.

• When a (previous) recorded databases is opened with laser systems defined and those systems have mistakenly the backscatter angle varied filter enabled then this filter will be disabled.
