PC Policies

Problem

  • This prevented QINSy 8.18.0 or newer from being installed

Solution

This issue appears to be caused by the system policies of the computer.

The workaround is:

  • Open regedit

  • Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

  • Change the "NoRecentDocsHistory" value to 0

  • Open the Console
