Fledermaus Window Menu
The window menu allows you show or hide individual dockable windows. It also allows you to create and control custom workspace layouts. Custom layouts are an effective way of customizing particular portions of your workflow tasks.
Workspaces
This sub-menu manages the selection, management and creation of workspaces.
Fledermaus Default
This is the default workspace for Fledermaus. All panels appear in their default positions.
Create New Workspace
This action will launch the Fledermaus Workspace Creation DL allowing the creation of a workspace based on the configuration of a previously defined workspace.
Reset Current Workspace to Default
This action will reset the Fledermaus workspace to the default layout.
Save Current Workspace to File…
Saves the current workspace to a file that can be shared or loaded into Fledermaus. The default location is the public user documents Workspaces directory and the default name is the workspace name.
Load Workspace from File…
Allows a workspace file to be loaded to Fledermaus. The default location checked is the public user documents Workspaces directory.
Lock Workspace
This will prevent any dockable panels from being floated or moved.
Save Current Workspace to File…
Saves the current workspace to a file that can be shared or loaded into Fledermaus. The default location is the public user documents Workspaces directory and the default name is the workspace name.
Load Workspace from File…
Allows a workspace file to be loaded to Fledermaus. The default location checked is the public user documents Workspaces directory.
Full Screen Mode
This option will expand the visualization window to fill the entire screen. Use the Esc key to return to the normal view
Full Window Mode
This option will expand the visualization window to the size of the FM8 window the user has open on the desktop. Press ESC to return to default view.
Show Main Toolbar
This option allows users to switch off the Main Toolbar and to switch it on again
Show Scene Toolbar
This option allows users to switch off the Scene Toolbar and to switch it on again
Show Custom Toolbar
This option turns on and off the Custom Toolbar and associated options.
Data Viewing Panel Dock
This option turns on and off the Data Viewing Panel Dock.
External Data Dock
This will turn on and off the External Data Dock.
Object Properties Dock
This will turn on and off the Object Properties Dock
Profile Dock
This will turn on and off the Profile Dock
Project Dock
This option will switch off and on the Project Dock
Scene Objects Dock
This option will switch off and on the Scene Objects Dock
Slides Dock
This option switches off and on the Slides Dock
Space Times Notes Dock
This option switches off and on the Space Time Notes Dock
Video Files Dock
This option switches off and on the Video Files Dock
Video Player Dock
This option switches off and on the Video Player Dock
