Recommended: 1Gb

The max limit on Qimera is 4Gb.
However, this is not recommended as it will slow down the application.

Any file that produces a QPD more the 4Gb will get a message “source file has to many points and could not be imported”

• If a processed point file use the https://qpssoftware.scrollhelp.site/qimera/qimera-source-menu#QimeraSourceMenu-ImportandSplitLargeProcessedPointFiles

• If a raw sonar file, see if the acquisition application can split the file

• Decimated (removing and simplifying items in the drawing)

• Delete layers that are not used or empty
