Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger - Setup
This section describes how to create a setup for a typical Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger.
It assumes you have already created a template database and defined the survey geodetics.
Objects and (sensor) Systems must be added.
An Object is a platform on which survey systems are mounted.
The object is used in the computation for positioning calculations and can be displayed during an Online / Replay session.
There is no limit to the number of objects that can be defined.
A wizard runs through the pages for creating a new object.
There are many different object types such as a Vessel, Survey Vessel, ROV/AUV Fish, Dredging Tool, Benchmark, Gun Array and Pipe Bundle.
Start with the Vessel as primary object and then create secondary objects which are connected to the primary object.
To interface external devices or internal drivers to QINSy systems needs to be defined.
When defining a system the requirements are System Name and Type, Interface Parameters, Port Parameters and Update Parameters.

Setups vary widely - this section provides enough direction that you should be able to adapt the information to your own particular case.
