Decoding Notes
The driver decodes depth data and time from Simrad Binary Datagrams.
The format of the datagram limits the number of channels to 100.
Notice that all other fields (like transducer number, athwart ships angle) are not used by Qinsy.
Database Setup
All the transducer nodes must be defined as variable nodes on the vessel. These can be assigned to the system on the last page of the multi-transducer system wizard.
The slot numbers are the locations of the depth soundings in the string. Normally the port side most transducer is number 1.

PPS indicates that the time from the Simrad Binary Datagram will be used.
