Description
Driver can decode depth from an NMEA $--DPT , $--DBS or $--DBT message.
Note that driver is also in use to decode position data.

Decoding Notes
Only depths are decoded, other figures are ignored.
For DBS/DBT message the driver will decode the feet field if the Depth Measurement unit of the Echosounder setup in Database Setup is set to "International Feet".
If the unit is set to anything else, then Meter field is decoded.
Fathoms fields in DBS/DPT messages are ignored.
Talker ID
The driver's NMEA parser is expecting a talker id of 2 characters, e.g. "GP" --> $GPDBT.
Without a talker ID the data is not decoded.
Database Setup
For DBS/DBT message the driver will decode the feet field if the Depth Measurement unit of the Echosounder setup in Database Setup is set to "International Feet".
If the unit is set to anything else, then Meter field is decoded.
