iXblue - TAHWhy is my data not decoded even though it comes in on the port?

There is a UTC Time Status field defined in the format.

If this is set to "E", Qinsy will not decode the string.

  • T = Valid
  • E = Invalid

Make sure your system receives a pulse & timetag.

Output System

Output system related questions

SubjectQuestionAnswer
TSS1 formatIs it possible to output a TSS1 data-string from Qinsy?

Yes this is possible via the generic output drivers:

  • Generic Output (User-defined ASCII)
  • Network - Generic - Output (User-defined ASCII) (TCP)
  • Network - Generic - Output (User-defined ASCII) (UDP)

There is however a reason why there was no output system created for this in Qinsy.
This is because there will most likely be timing issues, since the TSS message does not contain a timestamp in the data-string.

In case you would still like to output it, you can use the following XML:

  • TSS1 NOT TESTED.xml
  • Place it in the following folder: C:\Users\Public\Documents\QPS\QINSy\Drivers\Definitions\Output
