Problem

Garmin Express Software
Problem
- HASP Loader could not recognize the dongle
Solution
- Uninstalling the Garmin software was the original solution
- It seems that QPS brought out a patch at the time so it should be solved
SIS - Datagram router
Problem
- This is a different kind of problem. The data is not being sent to Qinsy from DATA DISTRIBUTION. This was because there was another Kongsberg program installed.
Solution
- Uninstall DATAGRAM ROUTER
SIS - Dongle
Problem
- We have seen that in some cases the Qinsy dongle is not recognized when a SIS dongle is also inserted into the PC.
Solution
- If possible, remove the SIS dongle.
AnyDesk
Problem
- Anydesk was sending commands to the remote PC is was monitoring.
This resulted in "F8" and "Ctrl+F12" commends being send which opened the following dialogs and interfered with the Qinsy recording:- MOB;
- Reset Line Offset Narrow search calculation.
Solution
- Use another version in which this problem is solved (not known if that is available).
Or use another software package.

MS Office 365 32-bit
Problem
- Qinsy 9.0.0 installs MS Access DB Engine 2016 (64 bit), which conflicts with MS Access DB Engine 2016 (32 bit) from MS Office 32-bit installation
Solution:
- Remove MS Office 32 Bit and MS Access DB Engine 2016 (32 bit), re-install MS Office 64-bit
Remote Desktop Protocol
Problem
- Remote Desktop Protocol blocks the dongle. This can result in Crashes.
Solution
- Use a softlock;
- Use a network dongle.
PC Policies
Problem
This prevented QINSy 8.18.0 or newer from being installed
