Motion Sensors

Parent Item

System:

List with all available motion sensors that exist in the current selected Qinsy database.
(See General Layout Information  about loading a Qinsy database.)

Apply C-O:

This setting affects the Pitch, Roll and Heave values.

  • No
Raw data values will be used
  • Yes
The values will be corrected with the Sign conventions and Alignment Corrections as entered in Database Setup:
  • Roll corrected value = Raw value + Roll offset value
Sign will be swapped when Roll convention is "Positive heeling to port"
  • Pitch corrected value = Raw value + Pitch offset value
Sign will be swapped when Pitch convention is "Positive bow down"
  • Heave corrected value = Raw value + Heave offset value
Sign will be swapped when Heave Sign is "Positive downwards"

RollSame value as seen in Observation Physics Displaydouble
HeaveSame value as seen in Observation Physics Displaydouble
Age

The difference between the triggering time and the time of the last raw update (see above).
Normally a positive value in seconds.

Note that the Age value for export will be the difference between the time of the current observation and the previous exported one.

Formula:

  • Online  (Generic Display, Generic Output Driver, Generic ASCII Logger)
Age = Triggering time - Observation time
  • Offline (Generic Export)
Age = Observation time - Previous observation time
