Qimera 1.4 Webinar - Release

An overview of new features and capabilities in the Qimera 1.4 release.

Qimera 1.4 includes the following new functionality; 

• Water Column Midwater sounding extraction, allowing least depth capabilities for wreck surveys and feature extraction - from minute 08:35  to 29:50

Data Import Improvements and New Formats

• Qimera Live and manual import improvements with new vessel configuration template files 
• Kongsberg NavLab navigation format
• Wärtsilä ELAC XSE format
• ASCII conversion to QPD improvements for FM Hydro clients
• Add a wild card character to date-time and lat-lon ASCII parser formats

Tide

• NOAA TCARI engine 
• Improved tide management for Predicted/Observed/Verified tides

QPS Seamless Workflow

• Preliminary single beam support from QINSy .db
• Qimera to QINSy patch test results applied to Template.db
• Import QINSy QGF and and improvements for DXF/DWG

Data Validation and QA/QC

• NOAA CUBE parameters as an option in the CUBE configuration dialog
