Object Attributes - Color Map

The second tabbed option in the Object Attribute Window is Color Map. The display shows the range of the current data (Data Range) and a histogram of the currently selected color map. The user can easily modify the data range (User Range) and reapply a color map either by adjusting the values in the User Range boxes or by pointing to the histogram and using the left and right mouse buttons adjusting the position of the range markers (shown in green).

The Colormap Editor allows the user to select from a number of prebuilt color maps to quickly recolor the data to improve interpretation or presentation of the surfaces.

Tools allows the color map to be edited or saved as an image file.
