Fledermaus Help Menu

The help menu gives you access to version information as well as a link to the online and offline help.

Offline Manual

This menu option will bring up the offline documentation that can be used without an internet connection.

Online Support Desk

This menu option will bring up the online Support Desk web page that can only be used with an internet connection. 

QPS Home Page

This menu option will bring up the QPS home page.

Open Crash Dump Folder for Fledermaus

This menu option will open the location where Fledermaus places any crash dumps. 

(Note that on macOS this will open the user Diagnostic Reports folder that contains crash dumps for all macOS applications including QPS Applications.)

(Note that on Linux this menu option is not available.)

Enable Verbose Logging

This menu option enables more verbose logging that will appear in the logging folder listed below.

Enable Console Logging

This menu option enables console logging when you run Fledermaus from the command line with the -debug option.  The output from verbose logging, which will continue to log to a file, will also appear in the console.

Open Log Folder

This menu option opens the Fledermaus verbose logging folder: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\QPS\Logs

Show License Manager

This menu option opens the License Status dialog, which displays the current licensing status and allows installation of new licenses.

(Note that on macOS, this menu entry is shown under the Fledermaus menu.)

About Fledermaus

The third option available is About. When selected it displays an about box that contains the version number of Fledermaus and QPS company information such as our address, e-mail, and web site URL.
